New readers on KaDe offer

Three new models of readers - KDH-C130M-7UID, KDH-CK130M-7UID and KDH-C150MQR.

The first two models are designed to read the seven-byte UID number from Mifare Plus and Mifare Desfire cards. These cards have much better security than in Mifare Classic cards. In basic version of the card, the default sector has a unique 56-bit number. This number of bits is sent via the Wiegand interface to the controller. Readers are designed to work with controllers that support this format. The KDH-CK130M-7UID reader is equipped with a keyboard thanks to which it enables more ways to confirm access rights (entering the access code by the user; reading the card and entering the access code; reading the card or entering the access code). For this model, it is also possible to work in mode in which the user is identified based on the virtual card number entered on the reader keyboard. In both readers it is possible to change the default Wiegand output format from 56-bit to 34-bit. In the model without a keyboard, the format is changed by connecting an additional cable to the ground, and in the model with a keyboard - by issuing a special command in the programming mode. The keyboard reader also allows you to set the default 4-bit or 8-bit output format for the keyboard.

The KDH-C150MQR model was introduced for easy and cheap service of guests arriving to the meeting at the facility equipped with an access control system. The guest invited to a meeting can receive a QR code sent to the smartphone generated by the reception service. Upon arrival at the facility, the guest approaches the smartphone to the QR code reader and obtains permission to enter. This model also reads standard Mifare Classic cards. QR codes can be generated and sent to users also from NMS AC version 4.0 and higher. Another way is to use any QR code generator. The code must contain numbers only - no more than ten digits. To increase security in the access control system, the KDH-C150MQR card reader should be installed in the passage intended for guests only. Employees should not be allowed to use this entry. This will prevent access to the facility after generate by unauthorized persons a QR code with the employee's card number. The generated card number in the form of a QR code should be read only a fixed number of times and allow access only for a limited time (e.g. for one hour).
